On 26 October 2026, BULKHEAD approved two more hosting partners for community servers on the official WARDOGS account on X: GG Host and 1of1 Servers. At the same time, the studio stressed that community servers are in Early Access just like the game itself. More features for server admins are to be announced soon, without details or a date. As of 1 November 2026.

Who is allowed to host WARDOGS servers

You cannot set up a WARDOGS server yourself. BULKHEAD does not release the server files and only allows community servers through approved hosts. The studio named its first two partners, QONZER and BisectHosting, on 7 September, shortly before the Early Access launch. That makes four official partners now:

  • QONZER (since September)
  • BisectHosting (since September)
  • GG Host (since 26 October)
  • 1of1 Servers (since 26 October)

Other companies advertising WARDOGS servers are not automatically official. Before buying, check that the host has been named in a BULKHEAD announcement.

The new partners at a glance

According to PCGamesN's report of 27 October, both new hosts offer servers for 60, 80 or 100 players, the same sizes as the existing partners.

  • GG Host: locations in Europe, North and South America, Africa, Asia and Oceania, with DDoS protection included. Its own panel lets you set a password, player limit, team restrictions and map rotation. The report gave no prices.
  • 1of1 Servers: only Ashburn and Dallas in the US at launch. London, Frankfurt, Singapore, Sydney and Johannesburg are listed as upcoming locations. According to PCGamesN, the 60-slot entry plan was 69.99 US dollars per month, with 80 and 100 slots as paid upgrades.

Hosts set their own prices, and these can change. Compare the current order page before buying, especially the location: a server close to your community lowers ping and with it the risk of kicks.

What you cannot do on a rented server

  • Install mods or upload your own server files: neither is possible with any of the partners.
  • Choose the game version: BULKHEAD controls the builds. The host applies updates as soon as the studio releases a new version.
  • Switch everything off: maps, mode settings and rotation can be chosen, but the economy and progression stay in BULKHEAD's hands.

Progression and rules

Cash and XP you earn on community servers go to the same account as on official servers. According to PCGamesN, BULKHEAD will not tolerate XP farming or hosts exploiting the progression system. Back with Patch 0.11, the studio announced a hard line against economy abuse, up to bans. A private server where a group deliberately farms cash or XP is therefore a risk for every account involved.

Checklist before renting

  • Check the host against an official BULKHEAD announcement.
  • Pick the location by where your players live, not by the lowest price.
  • Plan the size realistically: a half-empty 100-slot server plays worse than a full 60-slot one.
  • Put rules, vehicles and ping limit in the server name and description so players know what to expect in the Deploy menu.
  • Expect changes: community servers are Early Access, and admin features are still to come.
