WARDOGS Patch 0.11: split server browsers, a cash bonus and hard rules against economy abuse

Patch 0.11 splits the community and official browsers, adds text search and persistent server IDs, raises capacity in Asia and sets a hard ban line for cash exploits.

Bulkhead announced patch 0.11 on 12 September and shipped it on 14 September behind roughly an hour of maintenance. Almost everything in it points at one topic: the server browser and how easy community servers are to find. On top of that come bug fixes, more server capacity in Asia and an unusually blunt statement on economy exploits. Here is what was officially announced, kept separate from what we have not verified ourselves. As of 23 September 2026.

Why this patch happened

The studio states in the announcement that community servers have been underserved and that the browser as a whole was poor, and that the community server strategy was rushed. The patch is described as a first step, not a finished solution. The same text names 400,000 peak concurrent users as the high point so far.

Server browser changes

  • The front end is split into two browsers: Community and Official.
  • Filters were removed from the Official browser because there are no official modified game modes.
  • Filtering in the Community browser is more reliable.
  • Community servers can now be found by text search.
  • Server IDs persist across map changes and restarts. Each ID is unique and, for security reasons, much longer than before. Joining by ID stays usable between matches.
  • The quick bar gained show empty and show full toggles.
  • The host button now points at the correct place.
  • Server names are sorted alphabetically regardless of special characters and numbers. More than one space in a row is no longer allowed.

If you run a server or a regular group, check your server name: the new rule hits exactly the names that used to be pushed to the top with special characters and padding spaces.

The community server cash bonus

As an apology the studio announced a 5 percent bonus on end-of-match cash on community servers for the week after the patch. By our count that window has since closed, and no extension was announced. Check the value in game before you plan around it.

For planning: a bonus like this belongs in the reward fields of the money calculator, not in purchase prices. Fieldkit catalogue prices are unaffected.

Announced but not finished

The studio lists six features in the pipeline. None has a date, and according to the announcement they run independently of the content being built for Season 2.

  • Community server favouriting
  • Tiered priority queues for community servers
  • Message of the day prompt
  • Improved warmup activities
  • Disabling AFK kicking during seeding
  • Team switching controls

Other fixes

  • Several cash exploits were fixed. The announcement does not say which.
  • More GPU crashes were addressed. There is no list of affected cards or drivers.
  • Server capacity in the Asian region was increased.

If you still crash mid match, the collected community fixes are in our troubleshooting section. The patch does not replace those steps.

The new line on economy abuse

The studio justifies the severity with the shared economy: every player sits in the same economic system. Three tiers were announced.

  • Abusing cash exploits and bugs: a timed ban whose length depends on previous bans, plus a reset of cash and XP to zero.
  • Creating content that tutorialises how to abuse those gaps: a permanent ban. The studio explicitly equates this with advertising cheats and draws a line between reporting and promoting.
  • XP farming: the most serious tier, a permanent ban. The studio says it tracks which servers an account joins and knows the established farming servers.

Testing a find once or twice is not treated as abuse; repeating it is. If you find something, report it through the official channels rather than turning it into a tutorial.

What we have not verified

The announcement names no weapon, price or balance changes, so our catalogue values stay as they are. We have not measured in game whether each change behaves exactly as described. New announcements appear in the Fieldkit patch tracker as soon as they go live on Steam.
