1080p, 1440p and 4K: read the targets correctly
Steam pairs the minimum specification with 1080p Low at 60 FPS using upscaling. The recommended specification targets 1440p Medium at 70+ FPS natively, or 4K Medium at 60+ FPS with upscaling. These are publisher targets, not our measurements or a guarantee for every match.
Upscaling uses a lower internal rendering resolution. Compare videos only when output resolution, upscaling mode and frame generation match. A high frame counter alone does not establish equally responsive controls.
Can my PC run WARDOGS?
Compare your complete system, not just the graphics card. In Windows, Task Manager → Performance shows CPU, memory and GPU. Check free space on the drive used by your Steam library. Record the full model names; “Core i7” or “RTX” alone is not enough.
For laptops, compare the exact mobile GPU and its power configuration. A desktop benchmark with a similar name is not a reliable laptop result. Test plugged in, using the dedicated GPU where available.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need 32 GB of RAM?
The listed requirement is 16 GB in both tiers. Extra RAM can provide headroom for background applications, but buying more memory does not automatically fix low FPS.
Is an SSD mandatory?
The checked Steam listing specifies capacity, without naming an SSD requirement. We recommend an SSD for installation and loading; that is our practical recommendation, not an additional official minimum.
Are these specifications a 144 FPS guarantee?
No. To assess your own target, compare the same scene with frame generation disabled, then repeat in a busy match. Check aiming performance as well as movement.
