WARDOGS Season 2 progression and cash: new XP curve, unlocks and rewards
Level 20 needs less than half the XP in Season 2, many unlocks moved and logistics paid streak bonuses. What the patch notes and later corrections say.
Updated:
With Season 2, BULKHEAD overhauled role levels, unlocks, rewards and vendor prices. This guide summarises the official values from the 14 October 2026 patch notes and puts them in context for the fresh start. Note that the studio already adjusted Driver progression on 15 October, so some values may differ today. Check prices and levels in-game before planning bigger purchases. As of 23 October 2026.
A much flatter XP curve
Levels 10 to 20 felt like a grind in Season 1. According to the studio, reaching level 20 now takes less than half the time. Total XP for selected levels, Season 1 to Season 2:
- Level 10: 35,000 to 25,000
- Level 15: 110,000 to 54,750
- Level 20: 250,000 to 111,500
- Level 30: 500,000 to 318,200
- Level 40: 975,000 to 712,500
- Level 50: 1,500,000 to 1,150,000
Many attachments moved to earlier levels or other roles. After launch, BULKHEAD admitted that faster progression was a mistake and slowed the Driver role down again. Our news on the course correction has the details.
Key moves per role
- WARDOG: the Mechanical, Ammo and Fuel Supply Pallets are no longer unlocked by default; they arrive at levels 5, 9 and 16. The Judge is available from level 1. Level 3 helmet and armor move from level 60 to 70. The Gold Market sits at level 35.
- Assault: now the role for attacking bases. C4 with remote detonator arrives at level 4, the Molotov at level 13, the TCX-SPR at level 20. The AK74 is unlocked by default, and the M4 moves to level 28.
- Medic: the PP-19 Bizon is unlocked by default, the MP5 comes at level 4 and the Medical Bag at level 14 instead of 24. The Defibrillator moves to level 22.
- Recon: the M14 arrives at level 25, and the BMR-308 at level 20 instead of 30.
- Support: the PKM unlocks at level 15 instead of 30, the M249 only at level 20, the Evo-3 Ultra at level 30.
- Pilot: the armed Little Bird now arrives at level 8 and costs 125,000 instead of 50,000 dollars to unlock.
- Driver: Wolf-110 at level 8, the armed variant at 16, T-72B3 at 20, Flakpanzer Gepard at 25. The SPH-2 moves from the WARDOG track to Driver level 31.
New rewards and new XP routing
- Kills with assault weapons pay 2,000 instead of 1,500 dollars.
- When a FOB is hacked, teammates in the radius also get 1,000 dollars and 250 XP.
- Breaching a door with the Halligan bar pays 100 dollars once per door.
- Destroying a FOB pays up to 7,500 dollars extra depending on its stored supplies.
- Destroyed buildables, IEDs and C4 now give Assault XP, artillery gives Driver XP, and repair XP goes to Driver or Pilot depending on the vehicle.
Logistics: streaks instead of single runs
Base logistics rewards dropped, and at launch new streak bonuses rewarded consecutive deliveries, for example plus 250 dollars and 100 XP per pallet in a row, up to ten. A pallet's base value is now 1,250 instead of 2,500 dollars. Note: following BULKHEAD's video message of 15 October, Driver progression was slowed as an interim measure, and community sites also report the streak bonuses being rolled back. No written list of the new values had been published as of this article. Do not plan logistics income around the launch values.
Destroying vehicles and spotting
Every vehicle variant now has its own reward, and armed variants pay much more. Examples: Kodiak 500 dollars, Kodiak with M249 3,400; Ural 1,000, Ural Defender 3,600; L2A6 11,000; T-72B3 8,000; Havoc 14,000. Attack vehicles become more valuable with each kill they score. Spotting rewards are around 30 percent below Season 1 and scale with the value of the target.
Vendor prices
New weapons: PP-19 Bizon 1,000, TCX-SPR 3,200, Evo-3 Ultra 7,250, M14 7,400 dollars. The Molotov costs 340 dollars. New vehicles: Wolf-110 2,200, armed 7,800, Flakpanzer Gepard 14,000, T-72B3 16,000 dollars.
Much more expensive: L2A6 22,000 instead of 14,000, Havoc 28,000 instead of 18,000, Level 4 armor 5,000 and helmet 4,500, infrared rangefinder 3,200 dollars. Cheaper: AK74 800 instead of 1,600, Ruck Backpack 1,600 instead of 2,400, Medical Bag 1,800 instead of 2,000 dollars. Most muzzles and grips are up to a third cheaper.
Our take for the new season
Decide early which role you want to build up, because many weapons have moved. If you play against buildables, C4 and the Molotov now live in the Assault track. Top-tier protection is both weaker and more expensive, which makes Level 3 gear the more economical choice in many rounds. Our Season 2 balance guide explains the combat changes, and the season reset guide covers how cash converts to gold.
