Is WARDOGS on PS5, Xbox or Steam Deck? Platforms, crossplay, price and Supporter Edition

Few WARDOGS questions attract as much conflicting information as consoles, Steam Deck and the editions. This guide sticks to what BULKHEAD and the Steam store page actually say. As of 1 November 2026.

Which platforms does WARDOGS run on?

WARDOGS launched in Steam Early Access on 10 September 2026. The Steam store page lists only Windows as a supported platform; macOS and Linux are not listed. Steam's minimum requirements are 64-bit Windows 10, an Intel Core i5 8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500, 16 GB RAM, an Nvidia GTX 1660 or Radeon RX 590 and 50 GB of storage, targeting 1080p low with upscaling at 60 FPS. Is WARDOGS coming to PS5 or Xbox?

The official launch trailer ends by saying WARDOGS is coming to consoles in 2028. The announcement does not say which consoles. BULKHEAD has not named a date, price or beta for PlayStation or Xbox, and no Game Pass release has been announced.

Is there crossplay?

No, not at the moment, because only the PC version exists. BULKHEAD has not said whether a later console release would include crossplay with PC.

Does WARDOGS run on Steam Deck?

Steam rates WARDOGS as unsupported on Steam Deck and SteamOS. Steam's test notes that the game does not support SteamOS. The store page also lists no Linux version, so do not expect WARDOGS to start on the Deck or under Linux with Proton. Controller support

The pinned Steam FAQ describes controller support in Early Access as limited. Season 2 added an aim assist slider, gamepad support on the Deploy screen, new bindings and bug fixes. If inputs misbehave, see our troubleshooting article on controller and input problems.

How much does WARDOGS cost?

Steam offers two purchase options:

• WARDOGS: 39.99 US dollars.
• WARDOGS Supporter Edition: 49.99 US dollars.

Prices in other currencies depend on your Steam region. Check the store directly.

What is in the Supporter Edition?

According to the store page, the Supporter Pack, which is included in the Supporter Edition and also sold separately, contains cosmetic content only:

• Three starter weapon camos, one per faction: Valkyra A-91, Lonestar Bushmaster and Manticore KH-2002.
• The Taxi camo for the Little Bird.
• A supporter icon on the scoreboard, which can be hidden.
• Two bobbleheads: grenade and helmet.

It gives no gameplay advantage and is meant to support development.

How else does BULKHEAD make money?

On the store page, BULKHEAD says it will not monetise the game during Early Access apart from the optional Supporter Pack. In-game cash and gold bars will never be sold and must be earned through play, and camos will never be directly purchasable. The February 2026 FAQ already promised no battle pass and no pay-to-win. Which languages are available?

According to Steam, WARDOGS supports 14 languages, including German. Full audio is English only; the other languages have text and subtitles.
