Before shopping: set a limit
Example: $10,000 cash, $2,000 protected reserve and three planned purchases. Without unlocks, $8,000 / 3 gives a whole-dollar limit of $2,666 per kit. Deduct any required unlocks from the $8,000 first. This is our planning rule, not a game requirement.
First deployment: one task
Open the T-21 preset below. Check current prices, unlocks, containers, space, suitable ammunition and loaded magazines. Agree on a meeting point and task. Skip expensive specialist gear without an assigned purpose.
After a loss: diagnose before upgrading
Record the shopping total, separation from your team and missing equipment. If you lost your way, stay closer next time. If ammunition ran out, adjust the quantity. If the kit was too costly, remove an optional part. A new optic will not fix navigation.
Second and third attempts: one change
Change one thing at a time to understand its effect. Replace only what is actually missing; our comparison conservatively assumes full replacements. Stop or reduce purchases before spending your protected reserve.
After the session
Compare actual spending and income with your plan. Save an updated builder preset. Then choose a task to learn: reviving, supply or moving with your team. These are learning steps, not promised levels or earnings.
Frequently asked questions
Should I buy a premium kit immediately?
Only if unlocks, necessary equipment and planned replacements are affordable. We prioritise repeatable attempts for beginners.
What budget mistake should I avoid?
Counting only the weapon price. Magazines, ammunition, protection, containers and required tools also need funding.
